THE ART OF JEWELRY
HAS BEEN IN THE FAMILY FOR MANY YEARS, EXACTLY 6 GENERATIONS BACK – WHERE CURRENT OWNER ARAM’S GREAT-GRANDFATHER WORKED IN A WORKSHOP AT A LARGE GOLD FACTORY BACK IN IRAQ.
Until the 70’s when the first store belonging to Aram’s father was opened.
The surname Sabti, became well known in certain inner circles and everything went forward for the family for many years. Over the next 30 years, the first store in the family’s hometown of Basra developed into a further 8 stores nationwide, from Basra to Baghdad. In the late 90s, when the war was still in its early stages in Iraq, the family chose to move to Denmark and away from the unrest.
